Lawrence-based Hoosier Security has acquired local competitor Fidelity Building Protection and Management Systems. Hoosier Security says the acquisition will result in a larger technician pool and training capacities to support continued growth.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This transition allows me to continue working with Fidelity’s customers on a regular basis,” said Fidelity founder Ben Johnson. “Hoosier Security President, Armando Perez and I have had many meetings to ensure that our companies’ values and goals are aligned. I believe joining forces is the best way to forge ahead in growth, while still ensuring the quality of product we strive to provide our customers.”
The company says the next few weeks will be spent working to create a smooth transition, as well as integrate Fidelity’s clients. Systems under warranty will continue to be guaranteed by Hoosier Security.
