Hoosier Schools Among ‘Best Business Schools’ Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business was the highest-ranked Indiana institution.

Business schools at three Hoosier universities are ranked among the top U.S. MBA programs by Bloomberg BusinessWeek. The schools are ranked based on surveys of employers, alumni and current students.

The University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business ranked the highest among Indiana institutions at number 25, followed closely by the Indiana University Kelley School of Business at 26. The Purdue University Krannert School of Management had the highest gain from last year of the three Hoosier schools, jumping 11 spots to number 42.

Bloomberg compiled data from more than 1,000 recruiters, 15,000 alumni and 9,000 recent graduates. In addition to the surveys, the rankings were also based on job placement rates and starting salaries.

Harvard University was ranked number 1, followed by Stanford University, Duke University, the University of Chicago and Dartmouth College. You can view the full rankings and methodology by clicking here.
