Hoosier Momma Co-Founder Launching Hard Soda

The co-founder of the popular Hoosier Momma Bloody Mary Maker will launch Indiana’s first hard soda later this year. Erin Edds, along with her husband Stephen, plans to release Garden Party Botanical Hard Sodas in August through a distribution deal with Indianapolis-based Monarch Beverage Co.
The beverage is described as an all-natural hard soda with no excess sugar or artificial additives. When launched, Garden Party will feature two initial flavors, Garden Party Ruby and Garden Party Violet.
"We are bringing a premium element to the hard soda category which will make Garden Party Botanical Hard Sodas a sought-after brand by lovers of craft beer, spirits and wine," said Edds, "And having a highly respected and successful distributor like Monarch Beverage will ensure a successful launch."
Scott Shipley, senior vice president of sales for Monarch, said they expect strong sales when the brand launches in August. Monarch will distribute Garden Party to 69 counties in Indiana.
"Erin has a strong track record of success both creating and promoting high-quality brands," said Shipley. "Monarch is excited to introduce Garden Party to our accounts and customers who are discovering hard sodas as a quality addition to their adult beverage purchases."
