Hoosier Energy has named Christy Langley economic development coordinator. She joins the generation and transmission electric power cooperative’s economic development team. Langley will assist Hoosier Energy’s 18 distribution cooperatives in central and southern Indiana and southeastern Illinois with business retention, expansion and attraction projects. She previously served as director of planning and transportation for the city of Bloomington. Prior to her work in Bloomington, Langley’s experience includes 10 years of service for the city of Noblesville where she held various leadership roles including deputy mayor, director of planning and development and assistant director of economic development. Langley also serves as an adjunct professor for Indiana University’s School of Public & Environmental Affairs.
