Hoosier Companies Among ‘Most Valuable Brands’

London-based Brand Finance ranks the strength of each company’s brand based on factors including marketing investment, familiarity and sustainability.
Brand Finance says the criteria is used to determine what proportion of a company’s revenue is contributed by the brand. Indianapolis-based Anthem Inc. (NYSE: ANTM) ranks the highest among Indiana companies at 57, down from 52 the previous year.
Columbus-based Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) moved up 25 spots to 218, followed by Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) at 288, Warsaw-based Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ZBH) at 313 and Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE: LLY) at 318.
Google took the top spot on this year’s list, followed by Apple, Amazon.com, AT&T and Microsoft. You can view the full list by clicking here.
