Two Indiana companies are among FORTUNE‘s "Best Small and Medium Workplaces." The publication says the rankings are based on input from more than 74,000 employees at businesses throughout the United States.

Keller Schroeder in Evansville is ranked 21st in the Small Companies category. The information technology consulting firm has around 85 employees. The company has been in business for nearly 40 years and boasts a client list of more than 200.

In the Medium Companies category, Indianapolis-based cloud services provider Appirio ranks 42. The company has around 2,000 employees around the world. It relocated its headquarters from San Francisco in 2015 and was acquired by Wipro late last year for $500 million
