Holy Cross College has appointed Monica Markovich vice president of finance. She will be chief financial officer of the college, and she brings more than 10 years of experience in program management, design, finance and assessment to her new position.

Markovich previously served as analyst for the Office of the Executive Vice President for three years at the University of Notre Dame.

In that position, she managed a $25 million budget, a significant portion of which involved federal and state grants. When Markovich transitioned to her role at the University of Notre Dame, she oversaw a variety of special projects, as well as conducted extensive analysis and drafted reports on strategic university issues.

She is a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, where she is a lector and sits on the Parish Finance Council.
