Holt Moves Up in Bloomington Chamber

The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce has named Kelsie Holt as its new director of talent, education and work force. Holt has been with the chamber since 2012, previously serving as membership services and hYPe coordinator.
Holt’s new role will include continuing to build and maintain established relationships with community partners in the education and business sectors of Monroe county. She will also work to broaden the hYPe, helping Young Professionals excel, program and lead the chamber’s Franklin Initiative and its related work force development activities and programming.
“As The Chamber continues to identify ways to better prepare tomorrow’s workforce, the blending of these two strategic areas was a natural merger," said Jeb Conrad, chamber president and CEO. "Kelsie’s proven skills and focused energy will allow her to effectively work with our community partners and stakeholders to determine creative solutions that are in line with the mission of both programs."
The chamber says the hYPE network has grown to more than 550 young professionals under Holt’s leadership who are able to attend monthly events to help deepen their professional and personal engagement in Bloomington and Monroe County. The hYPe program also earned a Communications Excellence Award from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Executives.
