Governor Eric Holcomb will lead a delegation to Europe on his first international jobs mission as governor. The trip, which will begin June 12 and run through June 21, will include stops in Hungary and France.

Holcomb’s office says the visit to Hungary aims to establish and strengthen economic relationships between the two countries. In France, the delegation will include meetings with business leaders in the aviation, automotive and motorsports industries.

"As governor, I want to take Indiana to the world, and bring the world to Indiana. We’re a global economy with over 800 foreign companies currently doing business in Indiana," said Holcomb. "On my first international trip as governor, we will strengthen relationships with global job creators while forging new partnerships to advance economic growth and further diversify our dynamic economy.”

Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger will join Holcomb on the trip. A full itinerary and list of delegates is set to be released when the delegation departs on June 12.
