Holcomb Makes More Appointments
Holcomb says the Regional Cities Initiative is part of his administration's agenda.

Holcomb has set his finance team and reappointed the heads of several departments, including the Indiana Department of Workforce Development and the Indiana Department of Labor.
Holcomb has chosen Jason Dudich to serve as State Budget Director. Dudich previously served as chief of staff to former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard, controller for the city of Indianapolis and director of the Office of Financial Management.
"Jason has years of experience in the field of local and state public finance and he is uniquely qualified to fulfill the role of State Budget Director," said Holcomb. "His extensive knowledge and collaborative spirit make him an excellent choice for this position."
Adam Krupp, who currently serves as general counsel to the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and special counsel to Governor Mike Pence, will become the next commissioner of the Indiana Department of Revenue. He also previously served as deputy director and in-house counsel for the state’s Division of Family Resources.
Holcomb has also reappointed Dan Huge as director of the Indiana Finance Authority. Huge was originally appointed to the position by Governor Mike Pence in 2015. Courtney Schaafsma will continue as commissioner of the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance, a position she has held since 2014.
Indiana Department of Workforce Development Commissioner Steve Braun will continue in his role along with Indiana Department of Labor Commissioner Rick Ruble. The two were appointed to their positions in 2014 and 2013, respectively. Additionally, Holcomb has reappointed James Betley as executive director of the Indiana Charter School Board, a position he has held since 2015.
All of the appointments and reappointments will be effective January 9.
