Holcomb Appoints Trustees
Governor Eric Holcomb has announced several board appointments and reappointments. They include trustees at four state universities and the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board.
The appointments include:
Ball State University
• Marlene K. Jacocks, a sophomore English literature major from Fishers, will join the board of trustees as a student trustee. Jacocks’s term expires June 30, 2019.
Indiana University
• Harry L. Gonso, an ICE Miller LLC partner from Indianapolis, will join the board of trustees. Gonso’s term expires July 1, 2020.
• Zachary D. Arnold, a sophomore medical student from Carmel, will join as a student trustee. Arnold’s term expires July 1, 2019.
• Dr. Michael J. Mirro, a physician, professor and researcher at Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Education from Fort Wayne, will continue his service on the board. Mirro’s term expires July 1, 2020. (reappointment)
Purdue University
• Daniel Romary, a senior biomedical engineering student from New Haven, will join the board of trustees as a student trustee. Romary’s term expires July 1, 2019
• Thomas E. Spurgeon, a longtime business executive from Peoria, Illinois, will continue his service on the board as an alumni member. Spurgeon’s term expires July 1, 2020. (reappointment)
• Michael F. Klipsch, President & CEO of Klipsch-Card Athletic Facilities from Carmel, will continue his service on the board. Klipsch’s term expires July 1, 2020. (reappointment)
• Gary J. Lehman, retired Chairman of the Board of Oerlikon Fairfield and President of Oerlikon AG-Americas from Lafayette, will continue his service on the board. Lehman’s term expires July 1, 2020. (reappointment)
University of Southern Indiana
• Anjali Patel, a junior biology major of Evansville, will join the board of trustees as a student trustee. Patel’s term expires June 30, 2019.
Indiana Education Employment Relations Board
• Linda Troop, a retired educator with Wabash City Schools from North Manchester, will join the IEERB. Troop’s term expires July 31, 2019.
