Hogsett Appoints Director of Citizens’ Police Complaint Office

Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett has appointed Gina Beaven to be the new director of the Citizens’ Police Complaint Office. Beaven most recently served as a member of the legal team in the Office of Corporation Counsel. She will oversee the CPCO, which provides citizens a way to report improper conduct or violations by sworn IMPD Officers. Beaven holds degrees from Howard University and Graduate School U.S.A.
