Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. in Lafayette is hiring production associates. The company is partnering with WorkOne to accept and screen applications for full-time employment at SIA.

In September, the manufacturer announced a $140 million investment to boost production and add more than 1,200 workers. Company executives say the move was prompted by increased demand. The manufacturer, which is Subaru’s only production plant outside of Japan, expects the expansion to be complete by 2017 and will bring its work force in Tippecanoe County to around 5,000. Executives say the expansion will boost production by around one-third.
