A job fair featuring hundreds of openings is set for Thursday in northwest Indiana. The event in Gary will feature employers in industries including banking, manufacturing and education. Organizers of the 2014 Professional Diversity Recruiting Fair say last year's event connected prospective employees with more than 700 positions.

Employers including the U.S. Postal Service, U.S. Steel (NYSE: X) and NiSource Inc. (NYSE: NI) are expected to have a presence.
