Batesville-based Hillenbrand Inc. has named former Batesville President Kim Ryan (pictured) president of Coperion, which is part of its Process Equipment Group. Batesville Chief Administrative Officer Chris Trainor will succeed Ryan in leading the funeral service products company.

Ryan has been with Hillenbrand for more than 25 years and has served in leadership roles in multiple divisions. She had been serving as interim president of Coperion since April.

Trainor joined Batesville in 2010, first as chief financial officer, then chief administrative officer. He also held a multiple finance roles with Kraft Foods.
