Batesville-based Hillenbrand Inc. has elected Jennifer Rumsey to its board of directors. She has served at Cummins Inc. for more than 20 years, most recently as president of the company’s components segment. Prior to that, Rumsey served as vice president and chief technical officer. She holds a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University and a master of science in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
