Carrie Hightman will step down as executive vice president and chief legal officer of Merrillville-based NiSource. She is also leaving her role as chief executive officer and president of Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, a subsidiary of NiSource.

Anne-Marie D’Angelo, who joined the company in September 2019 and who is serving as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, will become an executive vice president and a member of the company’s executive leadership team, effective January 2021.
