A Carmel-based immersive training program for web and app developers has announced a new partnership with a company located at Launch Fishers. Eleven Fifty, which was started by entrepreneur Scott Jones, will begin offering a week-long course in December covering Python, Django and microframeworks taught by executives from Six Feet Up Inc. CARMEL, Ind. – Eleven Fifty, a unique immersive training program, teaching web and app development, has partnered with Six Feet Up, experts in Python development, to offer an immersive one-week course about Python, Django, and microframeworks.

The first Python course offering will start Monday, December 1, 2014 and will run through Friday, December 5, 2014, with additional classes slated for 2015.

All of Eleven Fifty's courses have a project-centric approach, focusing on mobile and web apps that students will build themselves, including apps similar to Tinder, Snapchat, Evernote, and others. The thoughtfully sequenced coursework and “hands in the code the whole time” methodologies are designed to enable students of all experience levels to learn important skills fast.

The instructors for the Python courses will be Calvin Hendryx-Parker, co-Founder and CTO of Six Feet Up and Clayton Parker, Director of Engineering of Six Feet Up. Both are highly regarded among the national Python community and are frequent speakers at regional and national Python conferences. They also serve as founders and organizers of the IndyPy Meetup group and Pythology training series in Indianapolis.
