High Alpha Innovation Seeks Immigrant Business Builders

Indianapolis-based High Alpha Innovation has launched a new venture studio that aims to help immigrant entrepreneurs.
Resilient is looking to co-found, fund, and support B2B Software-as-a-Service companies in 2021 and says it is now seeking immigrant entrepreneurs to take part in a sprint week to convert their ideas into a company.
“Many of the most resilient entrepreneurs we meet are immigrants. There is perhaps no community more entrepreneurial than immigrants,” said High Alpha Innovation in a news release. “In spite of the clearly demonstrated impact immigrants have on the US economy there is no community for whom starting and scaling companies is more fraught with challenges.”
Resilient says it is currently accepting applications for its initial program through January 31. A final selection of entrepreneurs will be made by February 15.
Sprint Week will take place the week of March 9.
“While starting a company is difficult for every entrepreneur, we’ve come to realize how much more difficult it can be for immigrants, especially those in the US on nonimmigrant visas,” said Resilient.
