Samuel Johnson has resigned from his role as chief retail officer for hhgregg. He served as senior vice president of stores until his promotion to chief retail officer in August 2016. Before joining the company in 2010, he held the roles of vice president of small stores, regional vice president of northwest stores and regional director of merchandising and operations with Sears Holding Corp.
