The facility, expected to open next year, will house an emergency room, radiology services and a comprehensive women’s center.
The health provider says the facility will result in more than 110 new jobs once completed. It’s scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2017. Hendricks Regional Health Vice President Gary Everling says the center will "allow us to deliver care in a new way, with easy access to several different services under one roof."
Hendricks says its existing medical office building in Brownsburg will remain open to serve the south side of Brownsburg and northwest side of Avon. The provider is also opening an Immediate Care location in the area next month. In addition to Brownsburg, Hendricks Regional Health has locations in Danville, Avon, Plainfield, Lizton and Bainbridge
The groundbreaking is set for 10:00 a.m. at the site near exit 68 off I-74.
