Healthcare Startup Growing Staff in Carmel

A Carmel-based healthcare startup says it plans to expand its operations, more than doubling its office footprint and creating up to 150 new jobs by the end of 2025. Syra Health Corp., which is a subsidiary of STLogics Holding Group, says it will invest more than $500,000 to lease and equip an additional 5,000 square feet of workspace. It currently has a 4,000 square foot office.

Syra currently employs 25 people but expects to add another 75 positions by the end of this year.

The company, a woman- and minority-owned business, was founded in 2020. Syra provides medical communications, public health analysis, and patient education solutions to healthcare and life sciences companies.

“At Syra Health, we are continuously striving to improve patient care and patient engagement with innovative solutions in medical education and communications,” said Deepika Vuppalanchi, Ph.D., Syra Health’s chief executive officer. “Our team is also focused on strengthening value-based care models and ensuring continuity of care with resourcing the optimal number of clinical care professionals in our local and regional hospitals.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says it offered Syra Health Corp. up to $2.1 million in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans.
