Freedom Healthworks LLC is looking to add a total of 64 jobs over the next five years as it grows the customer base for its cash-medicine business platform.
The technology is a year old and provides a direct pay pricing structure for patients and business management services for physicians’ practices. Freedom Healthworks says it currently has a total of 1,200 patients and plans to drive that number up to 6,000 by year’s end.
Co-founder Christopher Habig says "we hope to become another Hoosier trailblazing company that has a disruptive vision to solve real-world problems with practical solutions. We are excited and privileged to call this state home and look forward to growing Freedom Healthworks in Indiana. Doctors are the real change agents and by empowering them to act, we can help all people receive better care and physicians can enjoy practicing again."
Freedom Healthworks currently has six employees and the positions set to open later this month include administrative, communications, marketing and account management. The jobs are expected to pay an average wage 40 percent higher than the state average.
The company has been offered up to $700,000 in conditional tax credits and training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
