The parent company of St. Elmo Steak House, Harry & Izzy’s and Burger Study is slated to open The HC Tavern + Kitchen in Fishers next week. Huse Culinary says the new two-story American-grill will feature a unique menu and hold up to 280 people.

The HC Tavern + Kitchen will serve lunch and dinner daily in addition to brunch on weekends.

Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning will join Steve Huse, Craig Huse, Chris Clifford and Tom Browne as a partner in the new restaurant. Manning also serves as a partner in Harry & Izzy’s.

“As we focus on intentional growth, Fishers stood out for its progressive work to strategically attract investments, jobs and residents that provide quality growth,” said Chief Executive Officer of Huse Culinary Craig Huse. “We’ve built this restaurant as a restaurant for Hamilton County – hence the HC in the name. The new concept provides an additional dining option for our loyal guests and more career opportunities for our team. We purchased the land and built our restaurant as part of our commitment to the City to further develop the area.”

The company is filling the restaurant’s leadership roles from within Huse Culinary group. Nathan White will join the eatery as executive chef and Justin Emery, who most recently served Restaurants Unlimited, joins the team as general manager.

Did the Federal Reserve stick the (soft) landing?

Did the Federal Reserve stick the (soft) landing?

When Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell began increasing interest rates in early 2022, few economists predicted a resilient economic response. It wasn't a matter of "if" we would be pushed into a recession but how bad the recession would be. Nearly two years into the steepest increase in interest rates in over 40 years, can we now say we've achieved a soft landing? Or is this a delayed economic response with a 2024 recession certain to come?...
