The school says the Levett Career Center was made possible through a donation from Mark and Marabeth Levett. Mark, who spent 42 years with Columbus-based Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) and retired in 2015 as chief executive officer of the company’s foundation, and Marabeth co-chaired a capital campaign that ended in 2014 after raising some $55 million for Hanover.
The Levetts graduated from Hanover in 1971. Mark has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 1982 and became board chair in 2014. The school touts the career center, housed at Hendricks Hall, as a "one-stop campus location" for job counseling, internships or interview preparation.
Friday’s ceremony is set for 4:30 and will feature presentations from President Lake Lambert, Business Scholars Program faculty member Diane Magary, senior Ashley Eden and junior Wes McKinney.
