Leslie Odom Jr., star of Broadway’s "Hamilton," will speak at the university’s Kresge Auditorium, as part of the university’s Ubben Lecture Series.
Odom will follow his speech with a question-and-answer session and a brief musical performance. Odom portrayed Aaron Burr in the smash hit musical, for which he also won a Grammy Award.
The event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is free and open to the public. DePauw says if the auditorium is filled, the adjacent Moore Theatre will offer the program on a closed-circuit video feed.
Odom joins the likes of President Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher, Mikhail Gorbachev and Peyton Manning, who have all been a part of the Ubben Lecture Series.
