Hamilton County to Host Virtual Job Fair

The Hamilton County Workforce Recovery Task Force will Thursday host a virtual job fair. The county says the event will connect people who have recently lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic with companies looking to fill positions.
The Hamilton County Workforce Innovation Network says participants can upload their resume and chat virtually with employers. The event will also include online resume writing assistance.
“Believe it or not, there are still good jobs out there and plenty of companies still hiring,” said Carol Sergi, executive director of the Hamilton County Economic Development Corp. “What a great way to safely connect them with those who are unemployed or underemployed due to the virus.”
Some of the employers participating in the job fair include Gaylor Electric, Forum Credit Union, Navient, Helmer Scientific and Commuter Connect.
