By Alex Brown
Hamilton County EDC Elects Board Officers Tom Dickey will serve as board chairman for two years.

The Hamilton County Economic Development Corp. has elected four new officers to its board of directors. Tom Dickey, managing director of real estate at Hageman Group, will serve as chairman.

Carmel City Councilor Sue Finkam will service as vice chairman. Corby Thompson, president of Boomerang Development LLC, will serve as treasurer and Duke Energy District Manager Mark LaBarr will serve as secretary.

"I want to thank outgoing Chairman Bruce Kettler of Beck’s Hybrids for his leadership during the past two years with HCED," said Tim Monger, HCED president and CEO. "The organization had a number of significant accomplishments while Bruce served as Chairman, including the implementation of a more aggressive marketing program developed by Hamilton County Tourism, Inc. We look forward to working with our new Chairman Tom Dickey, who served as Vice Chair for the last two years."

New officers are elected every two years at the HCED’s annual board meeting. Kettler will now serve as past chair for the next two years.
