Growth Council Honors Grant County Investments

The Grant County Economic Growth Council has announced annual investment numbers for 2016. The organization says more than 60 businesses invested at least $25,000 into job creation and retention efforts last year for a combined total of nearly $132 million.
The Growth Council also tallied investments over the last 18 years, which it says stand at more than $2.6 billion. The numbers were released during the organization’s annual Investor Appreciation Luncheon March 1.
The event debuted in 2000 at the suggestion of STAR Financial Bank President Jim Marcuccilli.
