Carmel-based Mainstreet Property Group LLC says Claremont of Crown Point will employ about 100 when it opens next year.

What: Groundbreaking for the Claremont of Crown Point, Northwest Indiana's newest Medical Resort. The 66,598 square foot building will offer 30 service-rich, well-timed assistance apartments and 70 Recovery Suites for those in need of top-of-the-line assisted living and rehabilitative care. The majority of the rooms will be single-bed rooms with private bathrooms. The handsomely-appointed design and hotel-like environment will be comfortable and engaging with concierge-style delivery of services and intergenerational activities. It will include a rehab center, movie theater, game room, restaurants, walking trails, Wi-Fi, an onsite chef and other amenities.
The two-story development is expected to create 350 temporary construction as well as 100 full-time, good paying jobs when the building opens in April 2015.
