Officials in Clark County will this afternoon break ground on a new charter school building. One Southern Indiana says the new Rock Creek Community Academy facility in Sellersburg will help the school accommodate recent enrollment growth.

Financial terms of the project were not immediately disclosed. The new building will include more than 20,000 square feet of additional space compared to the charter school’s current building.

Rock Creek Community Academy was chartered in 2009 by Ball State University as a K-12 school. Representatives from the school, the town of Sellersburg, Clark County, and 1si will be on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony, which is scheduled for 4:00.
