THIS AFTERNOON: ‘Grocerant’ to Celebrate Grand Opening
The new "grocerant" in Newburgh will open its doors Monday. Towne Market, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options for dine-in, take-and-bake and home delivery, is using the town as a test market.
Brian Wedding, an Evansville native and chief executive officer of parent company EX Capital, says if the grocerant model works in the tri-state area, it could lead to franchising in other parts of the state. He told Inside INdiana Business in July, "If it works or sells in these markets, they tend to work when you roll them out in the coasts."
The grand opening of Towne Market is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. You can learn more about Towne Market by clicking here.
