Ice Miller LLP in Indianapolis has added a former Democratic candidate for governor to its ranks. John Gregg has joined the firm as a partner, along with former Marion County Deputy Prosecutor Joe Champion.
The firm says Gregg’s experience in law, business and government "allows him to serve a variety of clients including municipalities, universities, small businesses, the agriculture community and corporations." In his new role, Gregg will focus on economic development, corporate strategic planning, small business development, and energy and agriculture initiatives throughout Indiana.

In addition to serving as deputy prosecutor, Champion has also previously served as special counsel for gaming in the Indiana House of Representatives. Ice Miller says, in his practice, Champion will continue to focus on gaming and regulatory affairs, economic development, P-3, public affairs, private equity and corporate strategy.
