An England-based luggage maker has announced plans for a U.S. headquarters in Greenwood. IT Luggage USA Ltd. says it will invest $1.8 million into renovations at a facility in the Johnson County city and could add 15 jobs by 2021.
The operation is slated to open in the fall and will house positions in areas including customer service, finance, warehouse and logistics. There are more than 60 U.K.-based business facilities in Indiana which the Indiana Economic Development Corp. says employ 31,800 Hoosiers.

The site selection process was made significantly easier by the business-friendly environment and our dedicated team of employees."
The family-owned company has a presence in the U.S., the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Hong Kong and China. It has had a presence in central Indiana for 14 years. The 33,000 square-foot operation at 1760 Industrial Drive will be IT Luggage’s corporate, finance, logistics and distribution hub for the U.S.
