News Release

Indianapolis, Ind. — Green BEAN Delivery, the region's largest online natural and organic grocery delivery service, announces that it is expanding its services and new food hub to Nashville, Tenn. Starting in late January, members can shop from a full selection of produce and natural groceries, free of additives and preservatives, and have them delivered to their doorsteps.

Green BEAN Delivery has already established partnerships with numerous Tennessee-based farmers and artisans, including Bongo Java, Hatcher Family Dairy, Johnson's Honey Farm, The Nashville Jam Company, Nashville Toffee Company, Provence Artisanal Breads and Willow Farm's pasture-raised eggs, to name just a few.

Nashville residents within the delivery area who are interested in becoming members can pre-register now and receive a promotional code by visiting www.GreenBEANDelivery.com/Nashville. Sign up is easy. There are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees, and delivery is free (with an order of $35 or more).

“We are excited to bring the region's most extensive network of sustainable farmers and artisans to Tennessee and offer our member-focused services to Nashville residents,” said Shane Towne, president of BEAN, LLC. “Our success in Midwest markets has provided us the opportunity to expand and now open our virtual doors to the Nashville community. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with our new customers.”

Green BEAN Delivery plans to make its inaugural delivery in Nashville to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee on Jan. 20, where the service will be donating 1 ton of fresh produce.

“Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is very excited to receive this large donation of fresh produce from Green BEAN Delivery,” says Jaynee Day, president and CEO of Second Harvest. “We strive to provide fresh, nutritious food to nearly 400,000 of our neighbors in need. Thanks to this donation, those at risk of hunger will have access to healthy produce, creating an immediate impact on hunger in Middle and West Tennessee.”

“Our service provides a convenient, affordable and accessible pathway to family farms, food artisans and well-respected national organic brands,” said Matt Ewer, CEO and co-founder of Green BEAN Delivery. “Our mission is to provide the communities we service a healthy alternative to conventional grocery stores while helping local farmers and artisans reach their true market potential.”
