News Release
LAFAYETTE, Ind. – More than 105 industries, businesses, healthcare providers, educational institutions and organizations will fill 120 booths for the Greater Lafayette Commerce 2015 Business Expo, a business-to-business networking event that runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, April 9, at Four Points by Sheraton, 1600 Cumberland Ave. Admission is free and open to the public.
“Our theme, as in year’s past, is ‘Build, Connect, Inform.’ This theme encompasses our desire for the Expo to be the premier business to business networking event in our community. And, through upgrades like our brand new vendor website and ‘directional flow’ of the event, we hope to achieve just that,” said Kathryn Byrd, assistant program manager. “In one place and for a single day, business people can meet and learn about a host of other businesses and organizations. It’s indeed time well-spent.”
Free parking for visitors will be available in the northwest corner of the nearby West Lafayette Wal-Mart parking lot, with guest shuttle service provided from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. by Express Air Coach to and from the Expo entrance.
From noon to 1 p.m., a lunch-and-learn session on email etiquette will feature Sue Scott, Tippecanoe School Corp. communications coordinator and former broadcast journalist. The luncheon will be held in the atrium of the hotel and is already a sold out event!
From 4 to 6 p.m., Tippy Connect Young Professionals, a Greater Lafayette Commerce group, will host Business After Hours in the Tailgate Lounge at Four Points by Sheraton.
Presenting sponsors for the event are Fifth Third Bank and Industrial Federal Credit Union, with dozens more contributing at various sponsorship levels.
