Four Indiana hospitals are included among "100 Great Community Hospitals" by Becker’s Hospital Review. The list features facilities with fewer than 550 beds that have been recognized for criteria including quality and patient satisfaction.

The Hoosier facilities on the list include:

  • Henry Community Health – New Castle
  • Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center – Jasper
  • MHP Medical Center – Shelbyville
  • Parkview Huntington Hospital – Huntington

"Our team is dedicated to improving the health, and inspiring the well-being, of our neighbors all across Huntington County," said Juli Johnson, president of Parkview Huntington Hospital. "It’s a mission we take seriously, and receiving this recognition of excellence is quite an honor."

Becker’s says the hospitals that are included on the list where chosen based on rankings and awards from organizations, such as the National Rural Health Association, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and Truven Health Analytics, among others. You can view the full list by clicking here.
