The program is a collaboration with Christian University GlobalNet, an online religious education certification platform. President Bill Katip says "we know that students are looking for this – that is why we developed the program."
CUGN is offered through Our Daily Bread Ministries, a global ministry that distributes resources in 150 countries. The degree will be comprised of 14 Grace College courses totaling 60 credit hours. Katip calls the degree practical and accessible and adds "young people who are considering a career in ministry, people of all ages currently serving who desire more education to propel their ministry, and many others, will find this program extremely useful and beneficial for their future."
Our Daily Bread Ministries President Rick DeHaan says "this degree program will serve well both church and lay leaders who wish to further their education. We greatly value the vision Grace College has shown in creatively developing a program that many students want and who will now find affordable and accessible."
The first classes will begin August 21.
