‘Good Bones’ Renewed For Second Season

A popular show on HGTV featuring a mother-daughter duo from Indianapolis has been picked up for a second season. "Good Bones" stars Karen Laine and Mina Starsiak, who became well-known for rehabbing homes in the Fountain Square neighborhood in Indy.
HGTV says since premiering on March 22, the show has drawn more than 14 million viewers. The duo, formerly known as "Two Chicks and a Hammer," will buy homes in severe cases of disrepair and flip them for resale.
"Family units tackling major home renovations are hugely popular on our air, but what’s compelling about Good Bones is that we see an incredibly talented mother and daughter, who also happen to light up the screen, work together to complete renovations that improve an entire community," said Allison Page, general manager, HGTV and DIY Network.
The 12-episode second season will premiere in January 2017. The duo appeared on Inside INdiana Business Television last June shortly after the pilot episode aired.
