GM Hiring in Fort Wayne

(NYSE: GM) plant is looking to fill more than 150 part-time, temporary production positions. Our partners at WPTA-TV report the company will host a job fair later this week to help fill the roles.
The company says the temporary employees will help cover staff during the summer vacation period.
Base pay is $16.67 per hour with a 5% shift premium for the 2nd shift and a 10% premium for the 3rd shift. Part-time temporary employees are limited to working a maximum of 32 hours per week.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and in good physical condition.
GM says the hiring process takes two to four weeks. The hiring event is Thursday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the WorkOne Northeast office in Fort Wayne.
