GM Fort Wayne Assembly says parts availability issues have resulted in the cancellation of today's second and third shift production. Plant managers say, at this point, first shift workers should plan on reporting to work Wednesday morning.

Fort Wayne, Ind. — Due to parts availability, GM Fort Wayne Assembly has cancelled second and third shift production for tonight, Tuesday, July 29th, Skilled trades and all second and third shift salaried employees are asked to report at their normal start times. Any other employees who are required to work will be contacted by their supervisor. At this time, first shift is scheduled to report at their normally scheduled times on Wednesday morning, July 30th.

Employees should continue to check the GM Fort Wayne Information Line at 1-866-503-7755 for the most up-to-date schedule information.
