Mygrant Glass Co. is leasing space at a new, more than 260,000-square-foot industrial building near Indianapolis International Airport, though financial terms of the expansion were not disclosed.
Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate, which developed the Gateway V building, says Mygrant will occupy nearly 70,000-square-feet of space.
Mygrant currently operates a facility in Indianapolis east of the airport, as well as a location in Evansville. It is not clear whether the new space will serve as a second Indianapolis location or replace the existing facility, or if any new jobs will be created.
Mygrant has not responded to a request for comment from Inside INdiana Business.
HSA says with the addition of Mygrant, the Gateway V building is now 75% leased.
“We are very pleased with the quality of tenants that have chosen Gateway V for their regional distribution hub in the Indianapolis market,” said Robert Smietana, chief executive officer of HSA Commercial Real Estate. “We’ve been active in the Indianapolis market for over 15 years, and the level of demand from major international companies for Class A industrial space has never been stronger than it is today.”
HSA says Mygrant plans to move into the new facility in the fourth quarter following completion of interior improvements.
