Girl Scouts of Central Indiana has promoted Ellen Winking to vice president of membership. She will be responsible for membership development and management within the council which serves 45 counties throughout central Indiana.

Winking joined the organization in 2004 and has served in various departments throughout the council including membership, product sales, and program/camp. She previously worked for the Girl Scouts of Moingona Council in Des Moines, Iowa.

Winking has a BA in business administration from Eureka College and an MPA in nonprofit management from Indiana University. She is a member of the Optimist Club of Northside Indianapolis and volunteers as a refugee family mentor.
