Subscribe NowGreater Fort Wayne Inc. is preparing for the next cohort of its Bridge Program with plans to add 10 more startups. The program is designed to provide entrepreneurs with connections, resources and coaching to help them “bridge the gap between startup and success.”
The program involves “Bridge Sponsor” companies that select participating startups and sponsor their GFW membership dues for five years. The startups then receive full investor benefits and entrepreneurs get the opportunity to take part in educational and networking programs.
GFW says the next cohort will specifically include entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds.
“Startups make our community stronger—they create jobs, grow the economy, and become part of what makes Allen County unique,” Brenda Gerber Vincent, vice president of community and corporate impact at Greater Fort Wayne Inc., said in a news release. “In just one year since the program launched, our entrepreneurs are finding an incredible amount of success and building valuable relationships.”
For the upcoming cohort, the Bridge Sponsors include Franklin Electric, Lutheran Health Network, Old National Bank, PNC Bank, and Premier Bank.
GFW is currently accepting applications for the next cohort through November 27. You can learn more about the program, including how to apply, by clicking here.
