Gatherings Begin on Final Changes to I-69 Section 6

The first of three meetings to lay out final tweaks to the preferred route of the last section of the I-69 expansion will take place Tuesday evening at Martinsville High School. The Indiana Department of Transportation says the "refinements" come from feedback from the public, INDOT planners and stakeholders.
The changes have been reviewed by the U.S. Federal Highway Administration and I-69 Section 6 Project Manager Sarah Rubin says "the project team has worked diligently to incorporate that input into a refined preferred alternative that reduces impacts in certain areas while meeting the purpose and need of the overall project."
The meeting Tuesday in Martinsville, as well as meetings at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis on Wednesday and Center Grove High School on Thursday in Greenwood will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Connect to details about the meetings by clicking here.
