News Release
Indianapolis, Ind. — One of the more substantial CNC woodworking equipment auctions in recent Indiana history will take place on February 26 when the assets of Gas City, Indiana-based Echelon furniture are sold, according to Key Auctioneers. Three simultaneous auction rings will be required to sell Echelon's furniture inventory as well as CNC woodworking equipment, specialty paint and coating lines, and
warehouse equipment.
According to Key Auctioneers Advertising Manager Mark Pike, the auction
is expected to attract a large contingent of woodworking manufacturers,
contractors and hobbyists, as well as members of the public interested in
the $150,000 inventory of Echelon fine wood cribs, dressers, nightstands
and armoires.
The auction will feature a significant amount of CNC woodworking
equipment including routers, moulders and panel saws; and specialty
equipment like glue press and spreader lines, paint and coating lines,
sanding machines, adjustable frame clamps, boring machines and doublesided
edge foilers. The auction will also include a variety of warehousing
equipment like dust collection systems, conveyor material rollers, fork
trucks, man lifts, pallet wrappers, rotary screw air compressors and
banding machine.
Hobbyists and members of the public will be interested in the huge supply
of raw woodworking goods to be offered, including woods, glues, paints,
sanding supplies and saw blades, as well as the $150,000 finished goods
inventory and Echelon's tools, office furnishings and IT equipment.
Echelon Furniture opened in 2010, specializing in the production of fine
wood furniture. It supplied furniture to various specialty and department
stores, including JCPenney. Echelon Furniture and its sister company,
New Jersey-based Munire Furniture, both filed for bankruptcy in
September 2014.
The three-ring auction will be held on-site on Thursday, February 26 at 10
am (EST) at Echelon's former headquarters, 100 Munire Drive, Gas City, IN
46933. Online bidding will also be available on Key Auctioneers' website:
