Another Indiana hospital is seeking a key designation for its emergency services. The Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus in Gary is considered “in progress” in its efforts to be classified as a Level III Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. In July, Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie announced it had been verified as a Level III Trauma Center.
