A former Indianapolis Colts linebacker is planning to launch an upscale soul food restaurant. Georgia Reese's Southern Table & Bar, owned by Gary Brackett, is scheduled to open in Indianapolis this summer. The restaurant's general manager is Bradley Phelps, who previously served in leadership positions in the food industry with Harry & Izzy's, Radisson Hotels and the Columbia Club of Indianapolis.

Dwight Simmons has been named head chef. He is chef/owner of Indy Star Chefs Culinary Services, which provides private cooking lessons and events.

The restaurant's Facebook page describes the menu as “honest-to-goodness soul” served in an “upscale urban atmosphere.”
