The Indiana Gaming Commission appears ready to consider a license for a proposed casino in Vigo County, following a nearly four-month delay.
Our partners at WTHI-TV report the commission will conduct a virtual meeting May 15 to consider a license for Indianapolis-based Spectacle Entertainment.
WTHI reported in January the gaming commission decided to delay the license hearing, as it investigated claims made against the gaming company.
Spectacle Entertainment, which also owns the Majestic Star casinos and the future Hard Rock Casino in Gary, is the sole applicant for the Vigo County license.
