Fundraising Company Plans $4M Facility at Ft. Ben

Construction has begun on a $4 million facility in Lawrence Village at the Fort. Lawrence-based Art to Remember, which helps school art programs raise money for their classrooms, plans to move into the new facility at Fort Benjamin Harrison this summer.
Art to Remember President Bill Boncosky says the new space will allow for further growth. The company hires more than 100 seasonal employees each year and a spokesperson says that number increases when new schools use their services.
Lawrence Village is a commercial and residential community created by the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority. A ground breaking ceremony for the new Art to Remember facility had been scheduled for Monday, but was canceled due to inclement weather.
